    Travel

If you travel a lot and like to collect knick-knacks and souvenirs from your travels you might find that you¡Çre inundated by things which you don¡Çt need, but which you can¡Çt bring yourself to get rid of.

There are a few ways that you can deal with this problem. The first is to not bring back any souvenirs at all, but for some people that¡Çs like trying to stop a raging river in full flow.

    · If what you¡Çre after is a souvenir of the place you¡Çve been to, have you tried photographs? They¡Çre great reminders of the places you¡Çve been to. And they don¡Çt take up that much space.

Well, the photograph albums might, but since it¡Çs not all necessarily one album per place visited then you might be okay. Otherwise, go to the next suggestions on what you can do.

    · If you want a little piece of your travels to comeback home with you, why not try to keep that ¡Èlittle¡É piece truly little.

There are more than enough souvenirs which are small into to fit into the palm of your hands and which won¡Çt take up too much room in your house.

    · My best friend for instance travels frequently and sends himself postcards from wherever he goes.

These he then pins up on a large corkboard which takes up space only on the wall, and not the middle of the room.

    · Someone else I know collects fridge magnets. Again these are relatively small and will only take up space on vertical flat surface. In other words it won¡Çt encroach into your living space.

    · On the other hand, if you do like to bring back something unusual from your travels, which won¡Çt fit into the palm of your hands, you always have the option of displaying it in a room other than your living room or even dining room.

    · This way you keep your rooms clutter free of even the essential items and guests won¡Çt get a rude shock when they walk from your amazingly decorated living room into a spartanly furnished and badly decorated different corner of your house.
